The Easiest Way to Get Around

In my opinion, nothing beats a bike when it comes to getting around in a city. Between the park system and bike lanes, the city of Leipzig is especially bicycle friendly. Whether the middle of the day or middle of the night, to the lake or to the bar, cycling is the way to go.

Above and below are pictures of Amy and I riding around Kulkwitzer See (a lake) our first summer here. This is also the excursion during which we discovered how many Germans like to leave the swim suits at home when they head to the lake. It was rough.

Below you see Norah Grace in her special bike seat. She loves her morning bike rides to school.
